Our Counsellors

Our team of highly qualified counsellors and psychotherapists offer services in Adelaide & the CBD and are available during working hours, after hours & on weekends. We can even organise counselling in your home (up to 25kms from the Adelaide CBD), or, alternatively, we can deliver counselling sessions via Skype, Telephone or arrange counselling at your workplace (up to 20kms from the Adelaide CBD).

Christian Counselling. Maggie, a registered counsellor, has been with Adelaide Counselling Practice for six years. She is passionate about helping people realise their full potential in life as individuals, in relationships and within society. Maggie’s preferred form of treatment is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy but blends therapies to maximise the benefits for clients.

A client-centered therapist, who aims to provide a non-judgmental and collaborative therapeutic space, so that clients feel able to openly discuss presenting issues. I work with clients on a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships difficulties, substance use and addiction issues, self-esteem, and identity issues.

To ensure sessions are tailored to individual needs, I use several different treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.

Laids is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve mental well-being. My expertise lies in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and communication issues affecting individual’s daily lives. I am passionate about tailoring my approach to meet the emotional needs of each individual.

I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings and help them become aware and make productive use of their emotions. The feedback I receive working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, is such that they find me to be caring and non-judgmental, and they appreciate that I am honest and direct with them.

I believe my role is to meet clients where they are and guide them to where they want to be, by demonstrating understanding, patience, and unconditional positive regard.

Bob has 15+ years of experience as a Psychotherapist, a Mental Health & Well-being specialist and as a Business Owner & Director. He has worked for Non-Government Organisations, the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and in Private Practice.

Tatiana is an extensively trained and practiced Mental Health Practitioner who holds a Bachelor Degree of Psychology from Brazil, and brings valued international experience to Australia.

Within a multidisciplinary health clinic, Tatiana brings a track record of working with diverse client populations, in which she applies a people-focused approach to empower individuals, including a multi-dimensional approach encompassing mind and body for optimal recovery.

A warm and empathetic counsellor who uses a client-centred approach to work collaboratively with clients to build resilience, self-determination and self-advocacy. She uses a range of treatment therapies to work with the needs of each unique client. These therapies include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.

Alice creates a space which is warm and non-judgmental to ensure clients feel safe and open to explore their challenges. She works with a range of client concerns including workplace challenges, relationship/family difficulties, grief, anxiety, depression, anger management and self-esteem or identity issues.
